NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, THAT IN ACCORDANCE WITH CLAUSE 20 OF THE CONSTITUTION, THE 38th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE WORKING GUNDOG AND CONSERVATION CLUB WILL BE HELD AT THE HOME OF SHARON VAN RENSBURG – 259 SPENCER AVE, CHARTWELL ESTATE ON SUNDAY, 23TH FEBRUARY , 2025, AT 1PM.
AGENDA
1 Establishment of a quorum and convening of the meeting.
2. Recording of names of members present and apologies offered.
3. Reading and approval of the minutes of the 37th Annual General Meeting held on Sunday January 28, 2023.
4. Matters arising from foregoing minutes.
5. Chairperson’s Report.
6. Treasurer’s Report.
7. Matters submitted by the committee
8. Matters submitted by Members
9. Election of Committee members including the appointment of an Auditor as required by clause 15, 16 and 18D
10. Election of Officials ie: Patron, President and Vice – President.
11. Election of Committee - At present: Paula Jordi (Chairman), Chris Begbie (Vice Chairman), Jill Daley (Secretary), Sharon van Rensburg( Treasurer) , Mike Marshall, Daniela Rotteglia.
11.1 In terms of the constitution one half of the Committee is required to stand down.
11.2 Paula Jordi, Sharon Van Rensburg, and Chris Begbie will stand down. Paula Jordi is not available for re-election. However, Sharon van Rensburg and Chris Begbie are available for re-election.
11.3 Proposal of new Committee members. Further nominations are called for and must be submitted to
the Secretary by latest, Sunday 16 February, 2025.
