5.2 SHOWS
5.2.1. Applications for Second Championship Show
5.2.1.1 SA Bull Terrier Club – 4 June 2022 (Breed)
The above Club is requesting to host a second Championship Show on 4 June 2022 as they have done for a number of years. Affiliation Fees have been paid, AGM Documents & Signed Financials and previous Show documentation are all up to date.

5.2.1.2 Swartland Kennel Club – 15 April 2022
The above Club is requesting to host a second Championship Show on 15 April 2022 together with its first Championship Show, West Coast Kennel Club Championship Show and an FCI Show hosted by West Coast Kennel Club on the same weekend. 15-17 April 2022.
Affiliation Fees have been paid for Swartland and West Coast Kennel Clubs and there are no outstanding documents.

5.2.2Schedule 3 Reg. 14 – Exclusion of Dogs & Reg. 19.8
Temporary Exclusion Order (TEO) for discussion – Dobermann – KORIFEY DIRTY HARRY – Reg. No. ZA001102C18, following an incident that occurred at the Port Elizabeth Kennel Club Championship Show held 05 September 2021 at which it was reported that the exhibit behaved aggressively by attacking and biting Judge, Mr J Marques on the chest.
It was noted that the Judge had not submitted his report. After discussion it was decided that the Judge should not have withdrawn the CC and RCC as only Exco can withdraw awards. The awards should be reinstated. The Club Secretary is to be informed that the Judge’s Report and Ring Steward’s’ statement are still outstanding.

Letter to be sent to all Provincial Councils informing them of the TEO placed on the dog and feedback is to be requested from the Judge regarding the outstanding report.
AB confirmed that the Club had been advised to reinstate the awards that had been withdrawn.
5.2.3 OTHER CLUB / SHOW MATTERS
ENTRY FORM FORMAT ON KUSA WEBSITE
A Show Secretary, who receives and processes entries for quite a few Shows, has forwarded a request as follows in respect of the above:
“Exhibitors download the form to complete but unfortunately the first page (class classifications) is automatically attached.
It is a huge problem to print out the email attachments as majority of entries has the first page attached. This is a total waste of ink and paper. In order to not print that page, one has to physically access each entry form and instruct the printer to print page 2 only.
Only a few entries are received without the first page but one doesn't know this unless each attachment is opened and checked.
This is also extremely frustrating as well as time-consuming when having to work under time constraints.”
The Show Entry Forms are part of Schedule 03 Appendix 3. The KUSA Office does not have the discretionary power to amend Schedules.
Is it possible for the posting on the KUSA Website, page two of the Official Show Entry Form, exclusive of the first page which provides Definitions (Disciplines & Breed Classes) and warnings pertaining to Rabies and Champions?
MA suggested that it be made clear on the Entry Form that exhibitors are only required to submit page 2 of the Entry Form. PM suggested that a bulk e-mail be sent to Club Secretaries reminding them that a new version of the Show Entry Form became effective on 1 August 2021 and that the Show Entry Form posted on the KUSA website will no longer include page 1 (Definitions) and the exclusive submission of page 2 of the Show Entry Form constitutes a valid entry if completed and signed.
Agreed, on proviso that PM consults with NDP and obtain his approval.

9.1.1 Australian Cattle Dog Club of KZN
The above Club held an SGM where the remaining members agreed to close the Club.
Please see attached email with the minutes and distribution of assets.
Noted . AB to write to Club requesting that the Office be given written confirmation of the completion of the distribution of assets. The distribution of the assets must be completed within
a reasonable period
9.2 Amendments to Club Constitutions
9.2.1 Transvaal Field Trial Association
At its AGM held 7 November 2020, the members of the above Club agreed to the following amendment pending the update of its Constitution.
New clause proposed:
The quorum for each AGM of the Club shall be [twelve members] the number of serving Committee members plus 50% thereof, all in good standing and personally or ‘virtually’ present.
Office Note: The Notice regarding new Constitutions as well as the Information Sheet has been forwarded to the Club in order for the new Constitution to be considered in due course. This is an interim measure.

10. GENERAL
10.1 YJ requested feedback on the matter regarding the distribution of assets of the Schipperke Club. AB advised she had received confirmation per email that the Club had changed their decision and funds will now be paid over to DOGSPC and ringfenced for the maintenance of the trophies etc.
AB to attain confirmation from the Club and DOGSPC of the transfer of the funds.
10.2 YJ requested feedback regarding complaint made by Mrs A Coetsee at the August Exco meeting. PM advised that the matter had been dealt with and that Mrs Coetsee had been thanked for her constructive recommendations
10.3 YJ requested feedback on complaints received from Exhibitors in respect of the non-receipt of Show Award Certificates. AB advised that according to the Rules, the Club has 30 days to issue Award Certificates and that she had written to the Clubs concerned.
10.4 YJ requested feedback on the proposal to be presented to Fedco to review the HD/ED Appeals procedure. NdP to provide feedback at the next Exco meeting.
