5.2.1 Applications for Second Championship Shows
5.2.1.1 Grahamstown & Districts Kennel Club – Championship Show - 03 April 2020 (First Application)
The above Club is requesting to host a second Championship Show over the Port Elizabeth Championship Show weekend. The Clubs take turns to host a second Championship Show.

5.2.1.2 Western Province Bull Terrier Club – Championship Show - 01 March 2020 (Third application)
The above Club is requesting to host a second Championship Show on the same day as Liesbeek Kennel Club. Liesbeek Kennel Club is in agreement with both Shows being held on the on the same day.

All AGM/Financial documents have been received, Affiliation Fees paid and show documents/payments
also received. This Club hosts a Non-Championship Show each year.

5.2.1.3 Northern Free State Bull Terrier Club – Championship Show – 11 April 2020 - (Fifth Application)
The above Club is requesting to host a second Championship Show on the same day as Central Free State Bull Terrier Club to create a bumper Bull Terrier Weekend as they did for 2019.
This is a low-populous area and the club does not host Non-Championship Shows.

5.9.1 Tutor Helper Mr Q. Strooh. [Exco 10-2019 Item 5.9.1]
Following Exco 10-2019, a letter was sent to Mr J. Swartz requesting the outstanding documents in respect of the qualification of IGP Helpers/Tutor Helpers. If not received within ten (10) days of the date of the email, Exco reserved the right to determine the Helpers’ and/or Tutor Helpers’ qualification status.
In response to this, Mr Swartz visited the KUSA office and provided emails with attached documentation that he had forwarded to Mr J. Rautenbach in August 2019. Mr Swartz's laptop had been stolen and the attachments were therefore unavailable.
Letter from Baakens Valley W & H confirms that Mr Strooh is an active Helper/Trainer at its Club.
The other issue was that he had not officiated as a helper at a Meisterschaft or Regional Trials. (

Committee). His experience from the GSDFSA to be taken into consideration.
Exco to make a decision on his qualification status.
Agreed to accept qualification – it was impossible to get the relevant documents from Mr J Swartz as his computer had been stolen.

The office has started working on the Judges Directory, however we are unable to change the status of Judges to International Judge All Breeds status. We are also unable to remove the requirement for clearance for these International Judges. An email has been sent to the FCI asking for assistance.

9.1 Applications for Affiliation/Closure
9.1.1 Grand Central Utility Breeds Club -
Financials have been completed and submitted to KUSA. Funds have been transferred to Goldfields
Kennel Club Grounds Account as a donation. The Club is now officially closed.

9.1.2 Eastern Boxer Club - At its SGM held 6 October 2019, the remaining members approved the dissolution of the Club. Funds will be transferred to FBCSA BC. Trophies have been distributed according to the donors’ wishes.

9.1.3 Application for Affiliation
West Rand GSD & ABTC - Name changed to North West GSD Club (NAPC) - Re-instatement
West Rand Dog Club was recorded recently as 'closed' due to its members relocating, however interested parties have met and re-formed the Club under a new name. The Club held a meeting on 13 October 2019 where a new Committee was elected. There are currently 11 members. Rotek GSD
fully supports this Club and the re-instatement fee has been paid. The GSD Liaison Council supports acceptance, pending NAPC confirmation.
The Club has accepted the new KUSA Specimen Breed Specialist Constitution entirely and will be listed as a Specialist Breed Club going forward should its re-affiliation be accepted. Financial Year-end remains 31 October.

9.1.4 Siegerhunde German Shepherd Dog Club (KZNPC) - New Club
The above Club was inaugurated at an SGM on 1 November 2019 and was accepted at the KZN Provincial Council Meeting held on 2 November 2019 (Minutes pending). Sponsoring Club is Matrix GSD Club and the GSD Liaison Council has given full support. The entrance fee has been paid.
Only the above name was offered.
The Club has adopted the new KUSA Specimen Club Constitution in its entirety. The Club's headquarters will be in Upper Highway Area of KZN.
Financial Year-end 31 October each Year. Management Committee and Quorum as per KUSA Specimen Constitution.
There are currently 8 members (with 17 GSDs) with more members expected, pending KUSA Affiliation.

9.1.5 Gundog Working & Conservation Club (DOGSPC) - New Club
At its Club meeting held 6 May 2019, the Club members agreed to become affiliated to KUSA and applied for Affiliation. At a meeting held 10 November 2019, it was agreed to be under the jurisdiction of DOGSPC. The entrance fee has been paid.
The Club has adopted the new KUSA Constitution entirely. The Club's headquarters will be the Eastern & Western District of Gauteng and surrounds. The financial Year-end is 31 December. Management Committee and Quorum as per KUSA Specimen Constitution.
The Transvaal Field Trial Association is their sponsoring Club and the Field Trial Liaison Council has confirmed its support.
This Club has been running efficiently for over 30 years, utilising a KUSA Licence under Northern Tshwane Kennel Club and request that they may continue hosting its Open Stakes and FQ Stakes at Championship Show level and not be required to qualify due to the many years of hosting events .
Agreed – provided only for Field Trials. Any other KUSA Events require a Qualifying Show to be held.

Until the telephone system has been fully sorted out, all future meetings and hearings to be done via Chorus Call.
11. DATE OF NEXT MEETING
Tuesday, 21 January 2020.
Fedco 12-2019 will be held 30 November & 1 December 2019.
The Meeting closed at 13h48 with a vote of thanks to the Chair.
LW thanked the other Exco members for all that had been achieved and the many great memories and wished them and the KUSA Staff a Merry Christmas.
