ADDITIONS AND AMENDMENTS TO THE ARTICLES AND SCHEDULES OF THE CONSTITUTION
The amendments and additions to the Schedules listed below were agreed by the
Federal Council Members at its meeting held on 5/6 May 2012 and will become effective 01.09.2012
N.B.  The references refer to the Constitution and Schedules on the KUSA website (www.kusa.co.za).

SCHEDULE 3 – REGULATIONS FOR CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWS
Regulation 37 - Fraudulent or Discreditable Conduct
Amend to read:
Regulation 37.4
Upon receipt of every report made in terms of Sub-Regulation 37.1 hereof, the Secretary shall transmit the papers to
the Sub-Committee of Inquiry and they shall thereupon be dealt with as a complaint made in terms of Disciplinary Rule
2 (Schedule 1) and all the provisions of the Disciplinary Rules (Schedule 1) shall apply.  The complaint deposit shall be
waived if the matter concerns discreditable conduct towards a Judge, Ring Steward or Show Manager at a KUSA-licensed event.
SCHEDULE 5B (2)(7) - REGULATIONS FOR SCHUTZHUND
The above mentioned Schedule is cancelled.
(Reference to Schutzhund to be removed from all KUSA Schedules.)
SCHEDULE 5D - REGULATIONS FOR DOG JUMPING GRADES
Regulation 5.2.2 – Vertical Hurdles – Width
Amend to read:
The width between posts must be a minimum of 1.2m
SCHEDULE 5L - REGULATIONS FOR AGILITY – APPENDIX C
Amend to read:

World Agility Championships: Team Competition
Team Selection: The top-scoring four dogs in each height category will be eligible for the SA team in that height
category. If there are fewer than three breed registered dogs participating at the SA Trials in any particular height
category, then no team will be entered into that particular event at the at the Agility World Championships.
SCHEDULE 5E - SPECIAL EVENTS
SCHEDULE 5E (15) (1.4) - Working & Herding Breeds Association Golden Reef, Derek Ceronio Working &
Herding Dog of the Year Competition.

Reg. 5 Qualifications and Conditions of Entry – Breed
5.1.1    Entry will be strictly by invitation only to the registered owner of the dog or bitch in each pure breed of dogs,
currently recognised by the Federal Council of the Kennel Union of Southern Africa for the purpose of classification,
registration and competition, Schedule 2 of the Constitution of the Kennel Union in the Herding and Working Groups
only and which has been awarded the highest number of Best of Breed Certificates awarded at all Breed Shows in the
Transvaal, and the Host Club’s Championship Show, in that breed between weekend 34 in the year preceding this event
and weekend 33 in the year in which the event is to be held.
SCHEDULE 5E (22) – Regulations for NAPC TOP DOG COMPETITION

Regulation 6 - Qualifications for Entry
6.2   Breed & Puppy Breed Competitions.
During the Calendar year preceding the date on which the competition is to be held any dog or bitch obtaining the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Group placing at All Breeds and Group(s) Championship shows, or BOB, RBOB in respect of each Breed variety, or BPIS, RBPIS or BP of Breed, RBP of Breed for each variety in respect of Puppy, where the specialist show included more than one breed variety, at a Speciality Championship Show(s) held by Clubs which are affiliated to The  Kennel Union, and in accordance with 6.1.1 above, will be formally invited to compete for the titles of the Northern Areas Top Dog and Top Puppy.
